Local farmer hits out after broken glass, bottles and bags of rubbish left on his land
"Don't go into farmers' fields!"
That's the message from a local farmer who has hit out at litterers.
Alf Caine of Castleward Farm recently noticed a group of people on his land, believed to be locals rather than visitors to the TT, and afterwards discovered damage to his fences, as well as broken glass, bottles and bags of rubbish strewn about.
It's currently calving season and a number of cattle are situated in nearby fields where they could have come across the litter.
The rubbish was also left in a silage field where Mr Caine says could have been spoiled if the animals had gotten in.
He had this message:
Island's first rapid EV charger being installed
Mooir Vannin could be first of many
'Significant investment or redevelopment' needed at Ramsey District Cottage Hospital
Braddan Commissioners open expressions of interest for TT camping at Roundhouse
