36-year-old accused of handling criminal cash
A Liverpool woman has been remanded in prison after being accused of handling criminal cash to the value of nearly £44,000.
Maxine Dormer, of Cavell Close, had a bail application denied during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse.
The 36-year-old allegedly left the Island on 18 July last year and was stopped by Merseyside police who discovered £43,800 in her car.
Dormer will next appear on 25 April; she remains in custody until that date.
UPDATE: 30 April - Dormer granted bail until next court appearance on 23 May when she'll be committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
