Lockdown homelessness and public transport equality feature in Keys

House to meet virtually this morning

Homelessness in lockdown and public transport equality are among the topics for discussion in the House of Keys this morning.

There are 11 questions for oral answer and 12 for written.

Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas is asking the chief minister to make a statement on 'equality in the context of public transport.

From the same constituency, Ann Corlett MHK is to probe the Policy and Reform Minister Ray Harmer on what lessons have been learnt about homelessness in the community during the first lockdown.

An urgent question has also been brought forward - Douglas South MHK Claire Christian is asking what the health department is doing to 'pre-empt any rise in domestic abuse and sex offence cases' over lockdown.

The House is set to meet virtually from 10am.
