
Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch says today (TUES) may be a good day to spot marine mammals off the Island’s East Coast.
Yesterday morning a pod of around 30 Bottlenose dolphins were seen just off Laxey at 7am.
The organisation says the area may be teeming with fish, as groups of Minke whales have also been seen in the same area over the past week.
It’s suggesting keeping an eye on the sea this afternoon, when calmer weather could provide a good opportunity to spot marine wildlife.
