Manx charities prompted to apply
One-hundred-and-fifty-thousand pounds will go to not-for-profit organisations with 'preventative' community projects - that's the offer from the Manx Lottery Trust.
This year Manx-based charities and thematic funding organisations applying for the money are asked to formulate plans to stop social problems reaching 'acute levels'.
Fifty-thousand pounds a year over a three-year period is available for research projects that carry on to apply methods informed by what works.
The organisation is a delegated partner of the Big Lottery Fund in the UK.
