Canadian Union of Postal Workers have moved to rotating strike model
The Isle of Man Post Office has resumed its mail services to Canada following a national strike by Canada Post workers.
The strike, led by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, had shut down all operations.
However, the action has now moved to rotating strikes instead, with postal services in the country starting to resume last night (15 October).
The Isle of Man Post Office says it is again accepting all letters and parcels for Canada; but has warned customers to expect 'extended delivery times while the backlog clears'.
It also says that the rotating strikes 'may pause processing and deliveries in specific cities'.
