Rhys Allan Manning admits drink driving
A Douglas man who fell off his motorbike in Tesco car park has admitted a drink driving charge.
33-year-old Rhys Allan Manning, of Spectrum Apartments, Central Promenade, will be sentenced on 18 July, once a social enquiry report has been prepared.
The court was told police heard an alarm as they walked out of Tesco just before midnight on 28 February this year.
They found Manning sat next to his bike in the car park, its alarm going off, after he had fallen from it.
His eyes were glazed, his speech slurred and he smelt of alcohol.
Manning admitted to police he had left the Bridge pub on South Quay and ridden to Tesco: CCTV showed he had ridden the wrong way down the one-way system.
