Police renew dashcam footage appeal after single vehicle crash
Police are renewing calls for dashcam footage following the death of a motorist in the area of Hillberry.
Jack Sheppard died in a single vehicle road traffic collision at around 9.30am on 16 January.
The 31-year-old’s family is currently being supported by specialist police officers; the Isle of Man Constabulary has asked that the privacy of all concerned is respected.
A number of witnesses have already been identified but officers still want to speak to anyone who saw Mr Sheppard’s red Mini being driven along the Mountain Road or through Hillberry.
They’re also requesting dashcam footage saying it may assist in ‘establishing the full circumstances of the collision’.
Anyone who can help is asked to call 01624 631212 quoting reference number 1283/26; information can also be provided via Crimestoppers.
