Vessel out of action until at least Wednesday
The Steam Packet Company says Manannan will have to go into dry dock for repairs after hitting a wall in Douglas Harbour this week.
She’ll sail to Birkenhead on Monday for work in Cammell Laird shipyard before hopefully returning in time for the 7am sailing to Belfast on Wednesday.
There’ll be no sailings to Ireland before Wednesday, March 30 – the company says it’s had to cancel Dublin sailings tomorrow – and if work takes longer than expected the Ben my Chree will cover the Belfast sailing on Wednesday.
All passengers booked for Liverpool crossings this weekend have been switched to Heysham.
You can find more details on the company’s website steam-packet.com
