But fast craft stood down when RNLI arrived
The Steam Packet Company has confirmed Manannan responded to an urgent call for help this afternoon (24 July) as she was on her way back from Dublin.
Manx Radio understands the alarm, from another vessel, was raised near the Santon coastline just after 1pm.
However the fast craft was able to stand down as soon as the RNLI was on scene.
Manannan returned back to Douglas just a few minutes behind her scheduled arrival time of 2.05pm.
