No sailings to Ireland until Wednesday
There will be no sailings of the Manannan over the weekend.
The vessel was damaged after it hit Douglas pier wall on Wednesday evening.
The Steam Packet says with surveyors being delayed arriving on the Island due to a late flight from Liverpool, they had no choice but to cancel the weekend service.
It means there will be no sailings to Ireland before next Wednesday, 30th March, when there is a scheduled 7am sailing of the Manannan to Belfast.
The MV Arrow is coming into use today (Fri) which will release passenger and vehicle capacity on Ben-my-Chree and the vessel will have additional crew allowing her to operate on maximum passenger capacity.
If repairs to Manannan take longer than planned, the Steam Packet says it has a contingency of operating a sailing to Belfast with the Ben-my-Chree.
This would depart at 19:30 with the return departing Belfast at 01:00 Thursday 31st March.
