20-year-old told: "Not on this Island!"
A Manchester resident has been fined £600 after headbutting a man who insulted him in a pub.
Kegen Stevenson, of Needham Avenue, appeared at Douglas Courthouse.
The 20-year-old admitted displaying disorderly behaviour on licensed premises at Jaks Bar and Smokehouse on 10 July.
Stevenson, who is working on the Island as an electrician for Tesco, was said to have ‘lashed out’ after the man mocked his stammer.
His advocate told the court: “This is a very unfortunate one-off offence. Mr Stevenson fully accepts that this was a stupid thing to do.”
Fining Stevenson, and ordering him to pay prosecution costs of £125, magistrates told him: “We really don’t stand for this sort of behaviour.”
