Charity takes products from local store
The Isle of Man Foodbank has expanded its offering to those in need in the run-up to Christmas.
The charity is now taking chilled products from a local store.
Such items are close to their 'best before' or 'chill by' dates, but are still perfectly edible.
Speaking on Manx Radio's Sunday Opinion programme, the operations section manager at Marks and Spencer in Douglas, Lee Giles, explained more:
