BBC2 finalist to help with pottery workshops
Two local artists have ignited people's interest in baking clay - with tickets for the Great Manx Build Up and Throw Down workshops selling out in less than a month.
Created on the Island by professional artists Anna Clucas and Faye Christian, the event provides three days of classes for beginners, improvers and enthusiasts in the building, throwing and shaping of clay.
Finalist on BBC2's Great British Throw Down, Richard J Parker, came over to the Island last year to help with the event and will be returning again from 11-13 May.
He says pottery is so much more than just making things:
Manannan replacement will prioritise year-round connectivity over speed
Local authorities still concerned despite further talks over Bill
Sailings impacted due to weather
Part of TT closed this morning
