Manx Care chair 'confident' about future

Foster admits first 12 months have been challenging

The chair of Manx Care says he's confident about the future of health provision in the Isle of Man.

Andrew Foster was speaking at the first public open day which was aimed at giving people a feel for what goes on inside the health and care provider.

Staff from across Manx Care, as well as other emergency services, held an afternoon at Vagabonds Rugby Club in the Noble's Hospital grounds where people could go along and ask questions.

Mr Foster accepts the past 12 months haven't been easy with the ongoing pandemic just one of the issues needing attention.

But he believes progress has been made in certain areas, and is hopeful this time next year things will be even better:
