Chair of Climate Change Transformation Board going to Glasgow
The Isle of Man will be represented at the United Nations' landmark COP26 climate change conference in Glasgow next month.
The conference provides a platform for the biggest climate crisis talks in years, and will be attended by many world leaders.
A UN report, issued today, shows concentrations of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, reached record highs again last year.
The Manx delegation will be led by Garff MHK Daphne Caine, Chair of the new Climate Change Transformation Board.
She says she's delighted to be going:
The COP26 is held from this Sunday until Friday, 12 November.
