First chamber sitting since April
The Island's parliament will convene in more familiar surroundings for its June sitting, which starts today.
It's the first sitting of Tynwald, the House of Keys or the Legislative Council where members will meet up in person since early April.
Sittings have been conducted remotely during social distancing, which finished yesterday.
Tynwald members will be asked to approve the spending of £11,700,000 on a replacement for Douglas care home Reayrt ny Baie, and just over £2,000,000 on new playing fields at Castle Rushen High School.
Elsewhere, Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas is calling for changes to gas price regulation, and, in a separate item, housing policy.
He also wants any emergency powers introduced after 25 June to go before Tynwald for approval.
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper, meanwhile, is moving a debate on affordable housing.
