'Flitters' explained by Culture Vannin

Culture Vannin has promoted an old Manx tradition for Good Friday morning - the eating of 'flitters'.

Some argue it's "a very ancient Celtic ritual" pre-dating the arrival of Christianity on the Island.

The shellfish, known as 'limpets' in England, were caught from the rocks and cooked there on the shore:
