The motorcycling event will now run for nine days instead of 14
The Manx Grand Prix will return later this year but with a number of changes.
The event will now run for nine days, instead of 14, beginning on Sunday, 21 August and finishing on Monday, 29 August.
The changes are aimed at allowing sufficient marshalling cover, reducing the overall cost for taxpayers and minimising road disruption for residents and businesses.
Ned Bowers, of the Manx Motor Cycle Club, is confident interest from racers and spectators will be high when the races return:
Amber weather warning issued as strong winds and coastal conditions expected overnight
Hospice funding criticised by UK charity chief amid Isle of Man service cuts
Sailings cancelled as storm brings gale-force winds
Manx Mountain Marathon route diverted over safety concerns amid forecast strong winds
