Manx home in on world record attempt - but more couples needed!

The Isle of Man is braced for a huge attempt at a world record on Bank Holiday Monday – but you’ll have to register to take part.

Organisers are hoping to smash the world record for the biggest ever three-legged race, which will take place on Douglas Promenade.

The record currently stands at 551 pairs - so far over 500 pairs have registered, but more are still needed to ensure the old record is comfortably passed.

The race itself will get underway at 2.30pm, but there’s entertainment and events on the prom from 11am.

Barclays Managing Director Simon Scott explains why his company’s been behind the bid:

And you can register online at threelegs.im
