Manx Labour Party leader calls for free TV licences for over-75s

The leader of the Manx Labour Party has suggested if free TV licenses for the over-75s become means tested in the UK, the Isle of Man Government should pick up the bill to cover Manx residents in the age category:

Recently-retired MLC David Cretney has campaigned on the topic for a number of years, and the party is concerned about what will happen to a number of 'important national issues' following the sacking of Chris Thomas as Policy and Reform Minister.
