Marcus Thornton says what he saw was "heartbreaking"
A local man who's just returned from the Ukrainian border says what he saw there will stay with him for a long time.
Marcus Thornton drove one of three vans full of aid across Europe to take it directly to those who needed it.
He'd collected items including clothing, medical supplies, toiletries and children's toys before leaving.
Marcus told Manx Radio he is surprised by how much the trip affected him:
