As the Island prepares to mark Armed Forces Day, a military says the Manx are playing their part in commemorations 100 years after the outbreak of World War One.
2014 also recently marked the 70th anniversary of D-Day.
Honorary Colonel Charles Wilson says the community seems to have embraced commemoration.
