Should we retain round pound?
Can the Manx £1 note protect the Isle of Man from fraud instead of retaining the round pound?
That's a question being pitched at the Treasury Minister by Speaker of the House of Keys in Tynwald tomorrow (Tuesday) - he wants to know if assessments are being made to find out.
The UK will look to phase out the round pound in October - and bring in a planned 12-sided coin to combat counterfeit production.
It's decided the Island won't sign up for the change, so Juan Watterson is asking if we can simply take measures to change back to the Manx £1 note:
