Manx student vaccine concerns as September term looms

Ailish Williams worried university students overlooked

A Manx student is calling for those who're leaving for university this September to be prioritised in the Covid vaccination programme, over their peers staying on Island.

Ailish Williams is due to start Queen's University in Belfast this year.

She says 17 and 18-year-olds are not yet being booked in for their first jabs, and is worried time may run out:

However, Health Minister David Ashford says there are options if students do run out of time to get the jab here before leaving:
