Postive feedback to summer campaign
Television adverts aimed at encouraging tourists to visit the Island were successful, but faced stiff competition.
That's according to Head of Tourism at the Department of Economic Development, Angela Byrne.
She says the ads received lots of positive feedback and lead to a spike in younger visitors to the 'visitisleofman' website.
'Come to your senses, come to the Isle of Man' was the slogan used in the 90 second clips, which featured on ITV.
Ms Byrne says it's difficult to analyse what impact they had, but early signs were encouraging:
Hospitality boss says losing website address has 'massively' affected business
Review of Island's schools finds strengths and areas for growth
Calls for needle disposal boxes at Island beaches
Retailer to stop selling 'untenable' newspapers and magazines
