Former MHK to be laid to rest
It’s been confirmed the funeral of former Middle MHK and government minister Martyn Quayle will be held on Wednesday afternoon (7 Sept).
He passed away on 26 August at the Walton neurological centre in Liverpool, a fortnight after sustaining injuries in a fall.
Described as a true Manx ambassador who put his heart and soul into everything, he was 57.
The service will be at Marown Parish Church at 2pm followed by burial in the churchyard.
