Continuing the Maughold bus service as it is can no longer be justified, according to the Island's director of public transport.
Ian Longworth has been responding to criticism from Maughold Commissioners, who're annoyed there was no public consultation before the decision was made.

He says what's planned for Maughold has worked elsewhere on the Island:
Manx Care forecasting £8.1m overspend for 2026-27
Former Manx Airlines boss 'concerned' over potential easyJet takeover
Number of roads to close in preparation for King's visit
