'Partners In Rhyme' boost hip-hop scene
Creativity, unity and collaboration are the core ideals in the Isle of Man's burgeoning hip-hop scene.
That's according to local musicians Keiran Hannifin and Jordan Preece - better known as Han-FX and Jor-DMC.
The pair have released their debut EP, entitled Partners In Rhyme, and are working alongside producers and promoters to grow the genre's presence here.
Around 15 local MCs joined them to perform at the first ever Isle of Mandem rap concert in Douglas last week.
Jor-DMC says Manx hip-hop has its own unique flavour:
'Pressure in the system' but bed figures are wrong says Manx Care
Work permits 'form part of longer-term plan' says Johnston
First Deemster and Clerk of Rolls appointed to senior roles
Mother's Day recognition for women who ‘shape our community’
