As students around the Island collect their A level results today (Thu), there's been a warning to shield themselves against a potentially deadly health risk.
Meningitis W is on the rise, with 200 cases reported in the UK last year.
The disease is spread through close contact, and thought to affect university students disproportionately.
Fortunately, it can be prevented with a single jab from your GP's surgery.
Jackie Dunn from the Isle of Man Public Health Directorate says students should be aware of the symptoms:
