John Wannenburgh says change of format would allow more to attend
The Government Conference should take place at the weekend to allow more people the opportunity to attend.
That's the view of Douglas North MHK John Wannenburgh following the second edition of the conference.
The two-day event included a Wednesday evening session as well as Thursday daytime, and was attended by around 750 people.
Mr Wannenburgh wants the event to continue, but thinks holding it midweek isn't the best option:
Candidates could need to declare interests to stand in 2026 General Election
Customs and Excise office to relocate
Douglas man convicted in Island's 'most complex child abuse image investigation'
Temporary lights installed on Douglas promenade
