Shoppers sad at closure
An MHK in the north-west of the Island has praised the contribution of an iconic outlet.
Jurby Junk will close in October after more than 40 years of trading.
Owner Stella Pixton is thanking her loyal customers and says she looks forward to seeing many friends during the closing down sale over the next few weeks.
Ayre and Michael MHK Alfred Cannan says Stella and Jurby Junk have been a constant fixture in the north of the Island and have made a sterling contribution to the local area and economy.
He adds it’s time to celebrate Stella’s achievements and look forward with optimism to finding a new business to help Jurby develop.
