MHK queries impact of £7K climate change advertising

Newspaper campaign appears to generate minimal web traffic

Government spent £7,700 on an advertising campaign which encouraged people to think about tackling climate change.

The 'Together For Our Planet' wraparound on The Courier was published to coincide with COP26 – and directed people to government's climate change website.

It was delivered to around 40,000 homes however questions have been raised about how successful it was.

In the House of Keys this week Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse asked how much traffic the campaign had generated.
