But minister says there is already an alternative
A Douglas North MHK has questioned the infrastructure minister over the decision not to reinstate a bridge from Noble's Park to Douglas Cemetery during road racing periods.
In November 2020 it was decided the TT footbridge would not be replaced, after what the minister described as 'much toing and froing'.
David Ashford, who's previously queried whether next year's racing schedule would have more of an impact on residents living inside the course, described the footbridge as a lifeline.
Infrastructure Minister Chris Thomas responsed to his question in the House of Keys saying there was already an alternative:
