Member concerned cost may be putting some areas off
An MHK wants to know what Manx Utilities is doing to encourage the installation of LED street lights on the Isle of Man.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew member Jason Moorhouse is concerned the initial cost of purchasing the lights can put some authorities off making the switch from conventional street lighting.
Mr Moorhouse will ask MUA chairman Dr Alex Allinson for an update at next week's sitting of Tynwald.
He's concerned not all areas are using the new-style lights:
Three-week road closure for gas main works
Public expectations for high street services 'a contradiction'
