North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson hopes he can find out more about waiting lists in private care and nursing homes next week.
In the House of Keys on Tuesday, he’ll ask Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw two questions about the issue.
Mr Henderson says he’s been contacted by people concerned they can’t easily find out how long it will take to get a placement in private homes.
But he says the question relates to places which are government-funded:
