Island looking at alternative options to UK pathways
Isle of Man 'officials' are working with their counterparts in the United Kingdom to determine how the Island can help Ukrainian refugees find sanctuary here.
The deputy chief minister says whilst we are currently mirroring UK pathways she does not want 'bureaucracy' to get in the way of helping those in need.
Jane Poole-Wilson, who is also Justice and Home Affairs Minister, says the Island is looking 'urgently' at an approach which does not rely on them.
