Over £4.4million spent on maintenance in 2021
More than £4.4 million has been spent maintaining highways this year.
That figure was revealed by the infrastructure minister in Tynwald this week.
Tim Crookall told the court he was hopeful his department would be able to secure more money to improve the condition of Manx roads.
At the sitting MLC Bill Henderson described arterial routes going into Douglas as 'crumbling'.
Mr Crookall was also asked if a review of road maintenance could be considered:
