Some school staffing levels affected in recent weeks
The Isle of Man doesn't struggle to attract supply teachers from off-Island.
That's the view of the education minister as government searches for additional teaching staff.
The advert on government's social media is aimed at all qualified teachers, including those already living on Island, and those who have retired.
Lessons for certain year groups at Ballakermeen High School and Castle Rushen High School have been affected due to staff absences this month.
Asked if the advert indicates a difficulty in attracting teachers to the Island, Julie Edge says approximately 120 supply teachers are available already but admits the department wants to build 'contingency':
