Education minister provides statement on Bunscoill Rhumsaa case
The education minister says the department is carrying out a 'proportionate response' after a case of Covid-19 in a Ramsey schoolchild.
It's as five new cases were detected in two households - three are linked, while two are currently classed as unexplained.
Dr Alex Allinson gave a statement at the end of Wednesday's sitting of Tynwald.
The primary school Bunscoill Rhumsaa has sent the students and teacher of the class involved home to isolate while contact tracing is underway.
Dr Allinson explained various steps are being taken with mitigation in mind:
Ramsey Commissioners to stop using AI images on website and social media
Have your say about Isle of Man Post
Wildlife park animals to get extra treats on Christmas Day
Setting a budget can help stop Christmas overspend, say financial advisors
