Hopes most of facility will be in use again today
The Minister for Education, Culture and Sport has paid tribute to the staff at the NSC after a fire there on Wednesday evening
Graham Cregeen says they did a "great job" and the training for just such an eventuality really paid off, with a smooth evacuation of the building and all customers, staff and visitors accounted for.
Mr Cregeen says it's still not known what caused the blaze - which had started in a locker in the men's gym changing room - but he hoped most of the NSC could be back to normal later on Thursday.
