Minister says climate change concerns are being heard

Protests held on Friday

The education minister says schools will have a greater say on whether or not lessons on climate change are introduced into the curriculum.

More than 150 children walked out of their classrooms on Friday, to protest against what they perceived as a lack of action on the issue.

It coincided with a worldwide movement instigated by Nobel Peace Prize nominee Greta Thunberg.
