New funds to help lower income households
The education minister is questioning why an MHK has called for a "fundamental review" of his department.
Garff member Daphne Caine asked for the move during her budget speech in Tynwald.
Mr Cregeen says he has faced a number of questions in the past few months from Mrs Caine on a wide range of issues.
One area of concern is helping children from middle to lower-income households.
