Home Affairs has an absence rate of 1.6-2.6% due to mental ill health
It's important frontline workers, like those in the police and fire service, access mental health support when they need it.
That's from the justice and home affairs minister who's been quizzed by a Tynwald committee about staff absence within her department as a result of stress, anxiety and depression.
The DHA has had an absence rate of between 1.6 and 2.6 percent over the last 18 months due to mental ill health.
The department provides support services to those affected and Jane Poole-Wilson is urging staff to use them:
