£412 million to fund services over next year
The health and social care minister says she’s aiming for the Isle of Man to have the best ‘small island’ health and social care system.
More than £400 million has been allocated for Claire Christian’s department as part of this year’s Budget.
It’s an increase of £45 million from last year.

Speaking in Tynwald she said the money will help deliver care better, earlier and in the right place:
It’s expected the DHSC budget will grow again, to £483 million, over the next five years; in 2022-23 it stood at £289 million.
Chief Minister Alfred Cannan says Manx Care’s ability to remain in budget remains a ‘serious concern’.
