Angela Aumonier won the beauty pageant last weekend
Becoming Miss Universe Great Britain is a 'dream come true'.
That's from Angela Aumonier, who was crowned in the beauty pageant over the weekend (Saturday, 11 July).
Angela, who grew up on the Isle of Man, says: 'I grew up watching the competition every year with my mum.
'To be crowned Miss Universe Great Britain 2026 is honestly so overwhelming, I have so many different emotions from [being] so excited and so proud of myself'.
It means Angela will now travel to Puerto Rico for Miss Universe later this year.
Part of the competition involves charity work, which the former Kings Williams College student is very much a part of.
Angela founded Marsha's Hope Foundation, a women's health organisation in honour of her Aunt who passed away due to ovarian cancer.
It's something she says is her passion:
Angela was also full of praise for time on the Island as she says: 'The Isle of Man is such a big part of who I am.
'I definitely say one of the biggest support groups is from the Isle of Man, I'm just really grateful for everyone over there'.
