UCM has 112 undergraduates; about 350 go abroad
New and returning university-goers from the Isle of Man haven't been put off by Covid-19 restrictions, according to the Manx Students' Union.
The informal organisation was set up earlier this year to provide a network of support for those in higher education.
Speaking on Manx Radio's Perspective programme, Cat Woolley said there's a range of feelings about leaving the Island:
It's thought around 350 are heading overseas to study for the first time.
Meanwhile, more than a hundred students are starting higher education at University College Isle of Man, according to the education minister.
