More joined-up approach needed - Cretney
There's been a call for health services to adopt a more 'joined-up' approach in caring for those with dementia.
A Tynwald committee which is looking at mental health provision has been taking evidence from families of sufferers, and will report back to the Osland's parliament in the near future with recommendations.
Its chairman, David Cretney MLC, says it's identified areas where provision is 'unsuitable', especially for vulnerable members of the community.
He says those areas need to be addressed:
DESC chief officer to retire in 2026
Treasury minister responds to figures highlighting contracting economy
Sailings delayed due to operational reasons
Net zero referendum rejection “a hit-job by the establishment”, says former MHK
