Just four Tynwald members don't hold departmental roles
An MLC hopes stepping away from her role in the Department of Home Affairs will allow her to provide more Government scrutiny.
Tanya August-Hanson has resigned from the post, and will serve as one of four Tynwald members not to hold a departmental job.
She believes her experience makes her more suited to a scrutiny role, rather than one as a policymaker.
