Moffatt positive about new administration

New faces can be a good thing

The Mannin Branch of the Celtic League is giving a cautiously optimistic reaction to the new House of Keys and Council of Ministers line-up.

Relations Officer Bernard Moffatt believes a "slash and burn" attitude to cuts is the wrong way to approach matters and thinks the Island is in a better position financially than many critics believe.

He's not concerned about the lack of experience in Tynwald and says new faces were constantly coming through the ranks during his union days.
